Schultz Raises Over $300,000 in First Quarter Post-Launch, Building Early Momentum in AK-AL

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Today, the Matt Schultz for Congress campaign announced it raised more than $300,000 in the first quarter following launch from over 2,000 individual donors and 80% from Alaskans, a strong early signal that as the only opponent running to defeat Nick Begich, Schultz is consolidating support and building a broad coalition of Democrats, Independents and Republicans necessary to compete and win in 2026.

The strong fundraising numbers accompany a growing list of endorsements from leaders across Alaska, including Former State Senator and Gubernatorial candidate Tom Begich, Alaska Senator Forrest Dunbar, and Alaska Representative Alyse Galvin – reinforcing that Schultz’s message is resonating with voters and supporters statewide.

“We are proud of this broad, early momentum that shows  Alaskans are coming together behind this campaign,” said Campaign Manager Mai Linh McNicholas. “With strong grassroots energy and support from trusted Alaska leaders, we’re building a campaign to win and we’re ready to take this message directly to voters in every region of the state.”

The campaign will continue organizing and traveling across Alaska to meet voters where they are, listening to communities, earning trust, and building a campaign focused on affordability, health care, and a brighter future for Alaska.
