Reverend Matt Schultz has spent his life caring for others. Now he’s ready to take that fight for fairness, dignity, and opportunity to Congress to make sure every Alaskan has the chance to build a good life right here at home.

As a Presbyterian pastor in Anchorage, Matt has walked alongside people through life’s toughest challenges, helping families heal from addiction, loss, and despair, standing by those facing illness or grief, and offering support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background. That experience has shaped how he leads: by listening first, showing compassion, and standing up for what’s right even when it’s hard.

Matt and his wife, Elizabeth, have made Alaska their home for decades. They’ve raised their children here, built deep ties in their community, and worked tirelessly to make life better for their neighbors. They have organized food drives, supported local nonprofits, and helped families make ends meet.

Now, Matt is running for Congress to take that same spirit of service to a new level. He’s not a career politician. He’s a community leader who’s seen firsthand how Washington’s decisions impact real people. He knows that when health care gets cut, when food assistance disappears, or when salmon runs collapse, it’s Alaska families who pay the price.

Matt is running to fight for fairness, dignity, and opportunity for every Alaskan. He wants to protect health care, bring good jobs home, and ensure our state remains a place where every child can build a future. He believes in an Alaska where hard work is respected, where families can thrive, and where our leaders remember that public service means putting people first.
