Faith & Freedom
My faith teaches me that every person has dignity, that conscience matters, and that power must be restrained. I believe the government should never dictate belief or privilege one faith tradition over others, that our constitutional rights are foundational, and they apply to everyone, regardless of politics or belief.
I support:
Religious liberty and freedom of conscience for people of all faiths and none, including separation of church and state
Full protection of First Amendment rights, including free speech, peaceful protest, and freedom from unreasonable searches
Respect for Second Amendment rights of lawful gun owners
Firm limits on government overreach and abuse of power
Keeping the government out of our personal decisions, which includes respecting all people regardless of their identity, faith, or expression
True faith calls us to love our neighbors. True freedom requires accountability, restraint, and leaders willing to defend constitutional rights even when it is politically inconvenient.
